Wrong Stat. These engines are picky, seen the same thing too many times lol.

Have you even tried burping it?

Might be the heads now tho....If the temp shot up like it did. These heads won't take much heat abuse.

Well the temp doesn't shoot up it goes up slow. Although the burping thing I don't know how to do, I did drain the radiator though.

The modular V8's need to have a 92,94,96 T-stat only...or you WILL have problems.

Burping, -



Your have hot spots on the heads/ -air. These CAN BE a mother to bleed. At times, you may need to jack the front of the truck up, remove the rear tires and lower the back. That depends upon how good your system flows.
