steering wheel jumping
Driving down the road and my steering wheel starts jumping usually after hitting a rough spot or bumps...when I changed my brakes I noticed my idler arm was worn and I was wondering if that would have to anything with the jumping or should I look into anything else. Thanks for the replies...

anything with major wear on it could cause that. good way too check for worn steering parts is too jack up the front of the truck and shack one of the tires left too right or vise versa and see if u hear any funny noises like clunks or the tire moves alot back forth. also look at every thing underneath as u movin it and see if anything is givin way as u move the tire back forth.

I can change the engine in my 66 pontiac tempest in a weekend.
