i have a 1997 f150 4.6 lariat 4inch lift , i change my shocks, breaks f and r used ranchos s5000, but i left the ignition on 2 days ago while in the shop and left to get some other parts , when we finish with everything i tried to started it was dead, we put the start pack it started but when i was giving gas and took the start pack off was dying. change the battery was fine.yesterday went hunting (had brand new battery in it) was fine till i got home , bout 3/4 of a mile my light died car was still running , and bout 50 yards from the house it start slowing down and wasnt accelerating , in the drive way died and it was starting only jumped but when i drove around the light didnt work or i couldnt accelerate. can any1 help pls? is the alternator?

ps i did washed the engine with a pressure wash but i was careful (i think)

im not a car specialist or into cars i just ove this truck and i dont wanna trash it pls hep

 

You might have gotten a module wet and shorted it out

 

would it dry out and work without changing it? and how would i be able to find out which one it is ?
