Ever since the light switch shorted a few weeks back i have had nothing but problems with my 97 f150's starter. First time it litertally broke in half in the truck because it kept running after the truck was started. And now after rebuilding the starter and replacing the solenoid it's doing it again. What can i do ?

I don't think it's the agnition switch at least, because i replaced that brand new just to be on the safe side of this issue. I heard from someone that there's a G.E.M. module that may also be part of the problem. any ideas on that?
