sputters only when sitting still

Ok so I have a 2001 4wd 4.6 triton it has just recently started sputtering when sitting still sounds kinda like its hittin a very low idle but its stayin right at approx. 700-1000rpm......the check engin light came on and the computer had both o2's ......which normally means mass air flow.......so I replaced it......light is gone and I let it idle for 10-15 to reset idle but its still sputtering........again it does this only when sitting still..........any ideas?

Replaced spark plugs and fuel filter......adding some dry gas today.......fingers crossed

Mine did this a couple years ago, ended up being a vacuum leak

I cannot be sure but this sounds like the Idle Control Valve is not working correctly. I would also check the less likely PCV valve as this is real cheap and easy to change (about $4 and 2 minutes to change).

That's rediculous I just replaced mine on an 02 5.4 and it was also like $4. Where did you buy that thing the stealership?
