nickel plated threads on the plugs and aluminum heads. So they don't corrode and acts kinda like antiseize

Modern Ignition are very reliable. Most misfires are caused by improper use of Dielectric Grease and using Anti-Seize on Spark Plugs. Dielectric grease is non conductive, it should be used to seal conductors.

Because Anti-seize compound can act as a lubricant altering torque values up to 20 percent, increasing the risk of spark plug thread breakage. Most Anti Seize are made from conductive metals which can cause misfire.

So I changed mine yesterday and a couple of the springs on the coils pulled right off the coil end. Should these come off that easy, or at all? I haven't been able to find a decent deal on coils. I know the motorcrafts are the best but the price is a little steeper than I can swing. Has anyone used the msd coils and if so how have they worked? I can get them for about $200. Thx

Yea, they can pull off the coil end. You can just put them back together.

250 cheap enough ? A guy PM'ed a couple days ago with a link to Motorcraft sets going for that.

MSD, I wouldn't bother. Not with COP ignition coils anyway.
