Haha, - right! I believe they are here as well, little by very little. And, yea, someone will find something wrong with it, I agree.

New, big 98 chrome bumper (97/98's had large bumpers) I installed before last winter and it was a fight to keep surface rust off the chrome. The inside of the bumper is covered completely in rust. But, -this bumper can't be as good as the original as it went for more than 10 years without rust on the chrome. The rear bumper is chrome as well, it's still the original with no rust. I must have purchased a cheap replacement for the front. Probably why it was a PITA to align (knock-off party I expect). I had to actually shim it a bit lol.

Anyway, - I used the expressway last winter for a week or so with it being treated with salt, that's all it took to get the new bumper rusting...fast. Had to use 'Never-Dull' to clean the dang thing. The bumper looked poop stained.

Evidently thats common- my buddy is a body man and he cant stand after market stuff, says it usually a pita to fit up. My youngest son has a 96 dodge 1500 4x4- the rust literally ate the steel from under the chrome!- his bumper skin was chromed tin foil!!
Im going to use dads metal brake and bend up some patch panels for the wheel wells on mine this fall- then sand blast the rough stuff and shoot it with an undercoat.
