You just said you removed the rear wheels and attempted to use a hill of some kind. So yea, you covered that part of it.. Btw, keep in mind, all you have to do is get the degas bottle up higher than the heater core.

Yea, it's PITA if you don't know about the problem before hand. Make sure your floors not wet in the cab, under the heater core. I have nightmares about my heater core going out lol. I should just put one in since my cabs gutted. The truck has 319,000 miles, still the factory heater cooler. I know how to do one, that's why I don't wanna do it lol.

have you tried squeezing the upper hose while its in closed loop? sometimes that helps coax the air out. could even try incorporating a drill pump to push antifreeze through the heater core.

I did try to squeeze the upper hose with no luck .

Just follow the instructions jbrew has in his earlier post. Follow 1-7 to a tee and problem will be solved.

Long story short i think its fixed ! I tried everything stated above and it didn't work . I never understood why it didn't have pressure at the resivor so i put a new cap on it . No more gurgling !

Drove it to work today and the heat worked great and no girgling . Its been girgling for 4 years and the heat hasn't worked all that good . All over a cap !
