Default sorry one more quwstion

I am wanting to cut 2 of my cats off and replace them with just straight piping anyone else done this? Ill be leaving two cats under there. And what size is the pipe it small

ya i did this and it was the best thing i ever did to my truck! got the sound and m.p.g. throttle res. i wanted! the pipe is 2 1/4.
and NO IT WONT CAUSE A C.E.L.!!!!

yep cut mine off too. gave it a great sound and pretty loud. the stock pipe on mine is 2 and 1/2" and i have a cherry bomb dumped in front the rear axle. i got 2 vids on youtube too. the one where its dumped sound kinda gay tho cuz i have an exhaust leak and it all in all isnt as loud as in person. but u can hear it from about 1/4 mile away distinctivly when i romp on it but when your listening for it u can hear it further lol.

did you guy cut the back cats out or the front ones closer to the mufler?? im thinking of getting rid of 2 of my 06

ok so the ones closest to the mufler what did you do with the 02 sensor or are the sensors only on the ones on the down pipes??

i left them in the pipe.

so in the new piece of pie you had to make a hole and weld them in?
sorry for all the questions im just thinking of doing it this weekedn lol

no they werent in the cats! they were before and after the cats. so i didnt touch them.

i just did some research and u may have a check eng. light come on! your trucks are different from ours.
