Default Smoking from oil filler neck

My oil consumption has increased lately and I noticed something strange. After reaching operating temp then shutting it off it smokes a little when I remove the filler neck cap. It doesn't really while running. It's not much but slightly troubling. I plan on replacing the dura last pcv for a motorcraft, cleaning maf/throttle body, and a few others an changing the oil. The top end noise (lash adjuster tick) is also getting worse. Now the smoking is a bit....grrr. Thoughts?

Last oil change I switched from Motorcraft 5w20 to 5w30. Bump to 10w30 then? So piston rings could be a culprit? I didn't think that was too common

It's had a pretty easy life being so far. Full ford dealer maintained to 100k. Oil changes every 2500 by me. All fluids changed with motorcraft.

How many miles? Also it will be more prevalent with cooler temps.
