Default SI/DO straight pipes into True Duals?

I asked this question once before and didnt get much help, has anyone ever switched from si/do to true dual straight pipes? i have all 4 cats still on with single in dual out stright pipes and looking into changing it to true duals but my question is will it change the sound much?
My si/do stright pipes are kinda loud but not very deep, im hoping that changing it to true duals might make it a little deeper and louder. I did find 1 video of a f150 with all 4 cats into true duals and it sounded good and alot different than mine but than again things do sound different on video so it would be much appreciated if someone could help.

Your best bet for true duals to get a deeper tone is get rid of your cats with 2 good mufflers

I swapped out my si/do setup to true dual straights after the cats a couple years back and I love it. Definately an increase in sound, nice rumble but still able to keep it relatively quiet when I need to. Which you can't do once you start taking off cats

Neither, it's just true straights all the way back. If your not doing any additional performance upgrades all those x and h pipes are a waste of money imo

I had a 97 lariat with the 4.6 and true duals that was loud as hell and a good loud not the annoying that doesnt sound right loud. It did have all the cats on it. I now have a 2000 5.4 sport 4x4 that has single into duals that sounds good just not as loud as the 97 by a long shot.
