I thought I'd introduce myself here and show off the truck. I just bought it this morning. I've been looking for a stepside ford for a few weeks, and I threw in a low ball offer on one at a local dealership. They took it!
1999 Regular cab XLT stepside, just painted, it needs a little attention underneath but the bodywork was well done, and with 75k miles on it it runs great.

The sticker said $6900, I got it for $4500! I figure it isn't too bad based on what I've seen them go for around here. It does have the 4.2. Ideally I would have wanted either a 5 speed or a v8, but I haven't seen many v8 shorties, and the 5 speeds I've seen around here generally are in far worse condition. I'll post up more pics on Wednesday when I get back home, and get it cleaned up!

haha i got pulled over and the cop gave me like $450 in tickets for tint and no mudlfaps and too loud of exhaust. So i grabbed those an threw em on and went and showed em to the cops so that theyd dismiss the ticket and because he said my truck was a safety issue without mudflaps and he was just being a 
. SO i put those ones on there so that theyd indian trail in the snow and just white out everything jsut to make a point. once the ticket was cleared though i ripped em right off. definatly not on there anymore.
