I'll take a crack at it in the fall. I'm pulling the motor and Either doing the Lightning swap or something else that seem financially responsible. Once I start though, I'm going to have to keep the truck at least another 5 years to make it worth it. ..by then it'll be considered a classic and its value will level off if I clean it all up the right way.

Too bad Ford didn't put the 5 speed with the 5.4. I would have loved that setup in my SCrew.

If im not mistaken they did, but it was only offered in Reg cab

It was some of the 4.6L fleet trucks that got the stick. Not the 5four.
