That air filter video kind of makes us all say "SEE - we aren't FOS". LOL. It was a nice, refreshing video to see someone in the profession debunk oiled filters.
Unfortunately with all the evidence some will still ignore facts, haha. "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him do proper mods on a 10th gen"

Man, K&N sure made their money off us in the past. It's like blood money though. Although death to the engine will come much quicker, it's a slow death, slow enough making it impossible to legally point the finger at them and make it stick. Clever scam no doubt.

Scotty covers everything, even the power loss. It's the power loss I noticed in the past. It's how I new the MAF was fouled up with oil. It was easier to tell after the header install. Headers made a big difference in low end. But if the MAF fouled, it screwed up the works. Since with exhaust you need exceptional intake or it won't work very well. I lost more than 10hp when the MAF got sick. Not quite night and day, but close enough!

I had one in the Mustang. Thing was caked with grime every oil change, I swear. It likes the panel filter a lit better.

Default 1998 F-250 LD 3/4 Ton

Does this truck meet requirements for this thread? I know it has an F-250 badge but this is basically an F-150. Apparently the only difference is these light duty 3/4 tons had larger drum rear brakes, and larger diameter axle shafts. I bought this used 1-owner truck in 2002 with 44,000 miles. It has 203,000 on it now and runs like brand new. Bone stock minus window tint and an alpine audio system. Have only had to do minor repairs to it; coils, blinker switch, that sort of stuff. Doesn't leak a drop of oil. I have only used the synthetic blend Ford oil in it. It is currently for sale at a local lot. Wish I could keep it because it is a great truck! Godspeed old green.

Wow, I never realized there were versions of the F250 that shared the same body. I always thought by the Gen10 F150, the F250 had really taken off it a different direction.

Learn something new every day.
Let's be honest, there's so many Ford trucks on the road... I'm not breaking my neck to look at every one of them.

Sadly, I do. Not just F150s, but all trucks. I steal ideas from people and just an overall fan of a good truck build. Doesn't matter the make or model.

I'm starting to acknowledge F150s now that I own one, but it takes a nice one for me to double take. I grew up with Tacomas, so the nicely modded ones always catch my eye.

But I'm a Euro-tuner. My eyes will always be for the cars...

Bumping to keep one of the most popular threads with almost 4K pages off page 9 for those new who would like to use it.

- should've kept it where it should be. Stickied. Guess I'll have to keep doing this so we don't get 200 new show off threads started.

Edit: looks like we only need to hit 199 more, check the first page lol even titled "show off" need any more proof this was a bad idea ?
