Do it in stages. That's what I wish I'd have done. Would make it a lot more tolerable not having so much work to do all at once. I have my factory longblock I pulled out. Rebuild that and do budget pistons and rods and you're golden. Or get a GT500 take-out short block

If that were an option I would. If it were a screw I would. I'm 32 and probably going to have kids in the not so distant future and car seats don't ride in ext cab trucks.

Sure they do, but it's always helpful to have a family truckster on the side. Hey, at least they don't make station wagons anymore, mini vans are almost a thing of the past. SUV's aren't so bad to be caught in lol.

Fair enough, lol. Im all for safety but these child car seats are huge. I swear I have seen smaller racing seats with bolsters and 5 point harnesses.

Damn near bought a 1970 Country Squire about 17 years ago. It had a 390.... LOL. Pretty fun car to drive.

Default 99 f150 xlt sc

My 99 with 129K miles. Doing good as it stays out in the weather. Deciding if I should upgrade to something newer, but like the size and the 5.4 liter V8. I just tow a small pop up trailer, 2000lbs for camping now.
I also attached a photo of the interior, I have just kept a towel on the seat over the years, as I use it for camping and also I used to get a static zap when sliding out of the truck. Also a photo of the original power graph of the 5.4 V8. Always liked the low end torque.
