It wasn't so much the peer pressure as the $20 savings. Best price I've seen on these (shipped). My only concern is warranty. Buying from Amazon (but paying $20 more) would've given me a year.

I'm going to get a set of Philips XtremeVision 9007 bulbs for these, and will see how the factory fogs look. If I like the stock fogs with these heads, but the color is off, I *might* consider upgrading to Xtreme 9005's in the fogs. If I don't like the fluted/clear combo, then I'll have to think about the Depos. I've seen a number of reviews, though, where the Depos have melted off the bulb guard, and the reflector chrome has peeled. Makes me nervous.

Took the truck to have the lights set up this morning,

I guess I did a better job then I thought of copying the adjuster spacings from the original ones as he checked them and said they looked fine and didn't need changing...

Just went for a quick spin around the block and they light up the road nicely

Lol and then this started last year on the rear driver door... from the inside out so by the time I saw it, it was too late. Been trying to keep an eye out for a junkyard door that's solid. Plan is to buy a welder and try my rockers, find a good clean used door and then pray I can fix the cross members cheap enough.

At this point (from your pictures) you'd better off just getting a whole new bed and cab and take your time on the swap versus all the cutting welding bodyworking and painting new rockers and things.
I've been down this road/am still right now. My truck is rusting just the same that yours is. So far I've done both rocker panels all 4 doors, and patched my rear cross member. I found a clean white bed and tailgate for it so those will be going on soon too. I've probably got 1500 into all this, and countless hours. Rockers took me 3 days straight for each side. Looks like I'll be paying another thousand to have my cab crossmembers fixed over the summer too, and that's with me removing the interior first. I'll also need to do the core support. If you've got a ton of time, a good chunk of money, and the desire to keep the same truck, then do it. If not, go find a clean southern truck and drive it back home. It's way easier and factory finish, so it'll be real solid. After changing rockers, adjusting all 4 doors, adjusting the bed and tailgate, etc it's just hard. Wish I'd have just bought a clean truck and put my lift and tires on it

Good to know. What bulbs did you use? The ones that they supplied?

Yup, I left their bulbs in them for now. but I still have the other ones that were fitted if I need them

Won't be driving it at night until probably Tuesday to see what they're really like but looking at how cloudy the ones I removed were, it has to be a big improvement... lol
