well that explains why mine need to be replaced lol. with the rebuilt kits, I'm assuming they come with the carbon ones then

Correct. The carbon clutch sets are about $75. They are a pain in the ***. I made my own tool to be able to the spider gears back in.

I saw a video on YouTube about it, it might have been for a 8.8 but I'm pretty sure it was a 9.75 though. what about did the tool have to do that you made?

All it is for is to push the axle side gears beack into place. The 9.75 uses a spring shim to apply pressure to the clutches. I add a extra steel to give more pressure. Whell it was a pain in the *** to get the spider gears back into place. I used a 5/8" piece of all thread, some 1/4" thick washers, and nuts. Basically to spread open the axle gears so the spider gears would go back in.

ahh okay. yeah I knew it wasn't a quick easy job to do

Just got my new light bar in the front bumper I want some new wheels but I want a 6.0 more than new wheels

If you get new wheels you won't want a 6.0 as much.. I'd stay away from the 6.0's anyhow.
