Agreed. 40's are too big for a dd imo
There's people that say the same about 35s lol. All preference,and with the gears I have I'll get better mpg with 40s than 37s
I would run 40's on 24's on a dd but I wouldn't run 40's on 15's on a dd lol!! I would only run that setup where it gives you advantages like in the mud or crawling up rocks.
Also, keep in mind that in most applications, the more tire/less wheel setup weighs a lot more than the less tire/more wheel setup
