Close, but not quite. We payed $10,600 for the truck, plus fees. So,we have $10,825 in it, IIRC. Not a lot to be made, but still a super clean heritage, plus a 4x4. So it makes it that much better!

Its seriously one of the trucks where I wouldn't do a thing to it. Way too super nice, and its perfect as-is.

Wow,the auctions here let all of the nice cars, including repos,go to the dealers one day and the public gets to pick through junk the next I bet it wouldn't have gone for that at these auctions. They really just want the new stuff so the nice older stuff is picked up on the cheap. You guys aren't far,you should hit the auction here sometime probably make a pretty penny

Even if you don't make much, having such a clean, quality used vehicle on your lot really helps your reputation

We go to Manheim Darlington; how far is that from Aiken? Might be interested...

It does, thanks. It'll be a little difficult to sell a truck with this age, but the nice condition of it and low miles will definitely help. Gotta say though, when It goes, Imma miss it. Its the 1st heritage edition we've had, and by far one of the nicest trucks we've owned. Its getting harder everyday to fine these trucks in this shape due to their age. Still a few of 'em left though.

Thats about what it takes us to get to Darlington. Maybe a bit closer to 2 hours though, so it wouldn't be anything new.

Dealer auctions aren't like the general public thinks. You don't just walk in there and pick anything up you want for half price. You really have to search for a deal. Much like Craigslist. If your not buying in bulk (like a dealer), you could probably luck up and find a better deal on Craigslist.

Exactly. Just like CL, its hit/miss. Plenty of other people want the same thing as you do, so it comes down to who wants it more.

Yeah. My uncle is a small time car dealer, I use to help him over the summers so I know a little about the business. I always thought he was so cool driving different vehicles all the time.
