They frequently get confused with junky spacers that fail often.

Gotcha. I have some 1/4 or 1/2" spacers on mine,they're coming off when I get some off set wheels which hopefully won't be too far into the future. I'm probably getting the Helo Maxx 6 wheels,they're expensive but they look good.

I'm not sure where you're at but there's a set of 12' raptor wheels with the 35" bfgs for only $600 here on Craigslist. That'd be a start
