Thanks man, and I'm not sure, to tell you the truth I just found one of my wood bits that was just a bit smaller than the switch lol but yeah I couldn't figure out where I wanted to put the switch then figured that's an easy panel to take off and easy to run the wires too.

yea that doesn't look too hard, i'll have to look into it again cuz mine isnt all that easy to get to as you can see haha and id like it to easier to hit

Yeah it was super easy to run it to my spot, then for the ground I just spliced it into my stereo ground. I don't have shift on the fly and was gonna put it where your switch is but then decided not to cuz I'm adding more lights, just picked up a couple more for the back, can't wait to wire them too!
