That's exactly what happened. The cheap *** bulbs they used in them caused some bad heat damage. Along with the wreck angling the bumper up, and having the water sit in there for so long... it did a real good number on it.

I use sylvanias in my fogs and they got heat damage too. Even with a stock replacement bulb. Pretty common
