Haven't see him around this section for a long time. Many people have put 2 KC lights or led bars behind the grill. They are bright and the grill doesn't really impact light output. If you know what KC lights look light... well it's the same lol. I've had 2 KC lights and changed to a curved 32" led bar. Went thru 3sets of KC lights rusting in 1.5years; got fed up with their crap quality

The guy you quoted probably doesn't have that truck anymore lol. But lights behind a honey comb grille will give you a honey comb like pattern on the very far right and left. Well that's with flood patten lights at least

With Hella 500 driving lights mounted begind my honeycomb grille, there is no interference or visual impact from the grill seen in the projected light pattern.

Michael: Your particular beam pattern will be dependent upon the lights chosen, but suffice it to say there is virtually no difference between mounting them in the open on the bumper or a bull bar, and having them behind the grille.

I have 500s behind my grille too. Look to your 10 o'clock you should see A honeycomb like pattern there and at 2 O clock. I have had a variety of different lights behind my grille and they all projected some sort of honeycomb pattern either to the sides of directly in front of the truck. None of it affects the beam or is in your normal field of view. I have hids in mjne so that makes it more prelivent probably

Mine are like a couple of pencil beams, and don't think I'd see *anything* at 10 and 2. However, mine have been wired to only be on with my high beams, so who knows for sure.

I had 2 KC daylighters long range and had no honeycomb pattern. My 32" curved bar also projects no honeycomb pattern. It is a spot/flood combo I believe. You don't see a break in the light but obviously the ford logo does cover part of the bar
