I pull my dads 16' enclosed trailer just fine without tow mirrors...it does suck at times and more so backing up but I would never need them for any landscape trailer

Default Big Blue

My new-to-me 2000 F-150 XLT, named Big Blue. Needs a few little things here and there that I need to straighten out first. Then I'll get clear headlights, chrome bed rails and handles, and some other stuff for it. There's just so many options out there, hard to choose exactly what I want my truck to look like. This is the very first picture I saw of this truck, this is what the dealer used in their ad. Don't feel like resizing my other pics right now lol.

Just what exactly is the issue of using them with a landscaping trailer brother? There is a lot blocking his view, ergo the widened view to get a better picture of what's behind him. I'm confused as to the issue. I get it if it were a low trailer with a small load or a low laying pop up that the driver can see over.

Even regardless of that, if someone wants a better field of view when towing something why shouldn't they have one? Seems silly that someone wants to harp on a guy trying to be safer when towing something. I get that on smaller loads its not necessary but heck if they aren't comfortable or just like the extra view then go for it.

The guy argues you don't need to use tow mirrors for a trailer, yet has a lift and 35s for highway driving. Smh

Hey jacked off...Not just highways just hard road surfaces which includes back roads but there are not any dirt or hardly any gravel roads in Maryland or surrounding areas around me.

I'm not getting on anyone about it. Just saying they really are not necessary if you know how to drive a big load...yes it is safer. I personally think the big tow mirrors look terrible on our trucks but just my opinion
