Your trans is probably on its last leg though cause all the stress from those 37s is going right into your trans

yea that's why I'm saving for the 5.4 and 4r70w trans to replace as soon as something blows up lol but I agree the 37s can't be good on it

Gears my friend, you already have a 4r70w trans it just has the bolt pattern for the 4.2 which is why it won't swap over to the 5.4. You do need to regear though. And if you did make your truck a 4x4, you need to swap out your 8.8 rear end for a 9.75 rear end that the 5.4s have, otherwise your 8.8 will hate you and will grenade itself. Trust me.

No unless you want to custom fab some knuckles for it and that could get expensive with custom stuff cause then you'll need custom shafts etc

why just why???? Sell that 2wd v6 on 37s and buy yourself a nice stock 5.4l and go from there. .. Those lift and tires are a joke on that truck dude. Even if you were able to get them to a mud hole they wont have the @$$ to clean the tread out. You got all these crazy plans so get a platform that will handle your plans....i hate to be that guy but you don't realize what all is involved in building the truck you want from what you have. A few members have tried to tell you the difficulty and custom modifications your looking at, and quite frankly I'm tired of seeing it.
