97 f150
Here's my '97 F150 4x4, 4.6 with a 5 spd stick. I turned the torsion screws up to the allowed 24.25", nothing in the back - but might raise that up another 2 inches with blocks. Right torsion screw was turned up higher than the left to maintain the 24.25" measurement on that side, no issues with the alignment afterward. I understand this is pretty normal.
17x9 Rockstars with -12 offset/4.5" back spacing. Picked up a really used set of BFG 315x70x17s ($100 for all 4) and found that they fit great - no cutting or trimming needed.
Tonneau cover and step bars off Ebay. Home fabbed grill mod. Typical midwest rocker rust, did some fab work on the Nerf bars to the frame and now they are even more solid than before. Might put a brush guard on it and I think that's about it.

You should do some black lightning or Harley headlights and blacked tails and third brake light with the reverse lights and bed lights left clear. And clear fog lights. Would look sweet!!! I wouldn't do a brush guard that would kill the clean look you got going on!
Southern 4 Life
Truck looks great man! You should get some black lightning headlights.

I also found my 2003 Ford Focus Wagon just about the same way. Only major difference is it was in CT by you. That one had about 44k on the clock and is running awesome and saving me money. I think it's paid for itself already in gas savings. You just have to keep looking and have a few bucks to jump on them when they appear. So far I've made out okay but I'm sure you can get burned if your not careful. Oh yeah I bought my 1996 Harley Davidson Fatboy on CL also and with low miles (under 10k miles) back in 2010. I had to travel to North Adams, Mass (stone throw away from Vermont) to buy the bike but it was well worth the trip.

thanks a lot man and yeah haha that's where I work so I get to clean her up for free which is really nice. I always get crap from the Chevy guys for driving a ford and working at a Chevy dealership lol
