I figured instead of starting a thread,I'd just ask here. Yay or nay on removing my step bars? They collect so much mud that after one pass down a dirt road they aren't usable anyways.

Here's a pic of the truck,I would just take them off to see if I like it,but has anyone seen how many damn bolts are on them? I think there are 16 per side and they're stock from the factory so they've been in there for 13 years,probably not gonna come out easily.

There's 16 per side, I use one of those pneumatic wrenches to take mine on and off. Just know.. All that mud that hits the bars, without them it'll go on your doors. And rocks the tires fling up will hit the doors too instead of the bars. I like mine for protection.

I don't care about the mud,I did not think about the rocks though.

I'd leave them simply because they help hide your BL gap

Put my coil spacers back in and added a couple leafs out back
