Default Stock 5.4L 4x4 with plans

2000 5.4 4x4
When I blew the old slicks out I threw the 285/70/17's on they are Goodyear AT Extremes. They do great in the snow even tho its probably more the 4wd than the tires lol ... BUT its time for some mods. (Used to drive an '89 2wd 5spd with the straight 6. LOVED the torque. HATED the snow.)
Back to whats at hand. I'm thinkin 6" suspension lift and 37's wondering if Authority's will be my best choice or not. Bigger tires? Any reccomendations?
Brush guard will be in the cards too. Only restriction is budget, which means timespan increases.
rims? http://www.4wheelparts.com/Wheels/Mi...0039&t_pl=2893
first pic is when i got her
second is after rescuing a jeep.

Got our first snowfall. The trail grappelers worked great! Had about 6", but about half had melted by the time I took this pic.
