Yes 7700/f250 light duty torsion bars are stronger a lot of guys run them when putting on bumper replacements or when cranking bars with aftermarket keys.

So don't crank the t-bars. Not a lot of room ya say? Compared to what? A mini-van? I don't have any room issues when I got the family loaded(2 kids, 80lb dog, GF and myself)..But I keep junk in the cab to a minimum. IMO keep your truck.

Keep your truck..The 5.4 3v seems to be less reliable compared to the 2v. Also, I don't think a crash test rating should be the only reason to sell a vehicle you already own with no other issues.

I'm pretty sire its the 5.4 and the 5.4 will last just as long if not longer cause they don't ave to work as hard as the 4.2. There's atleast ten guys on this forum that have 350+ plus on their 5.4 probably more just being conservative.
