After I paint it black is it a good idea to put a clear coat on it?

It might help protect the paint. I didn't clear coat mine and it has not scratched or chipped off yet. With many of washes the past 3 months.

I didn't clear mine either, probably not a bad idea though. Then with a clear you could make it shiny or not.

Default Painted

I just finished painting my Grill and Plastic Piece below Chrome Bumper. I ended up takeing the Grill off the truck to paint it. While I had it off I took the Plastic piece off the bottom of the Chrome bumper. It was much eisier then I thought. I have attached Pic.

Nah just Krylon clear coat in the spray can should be right by the other spray paints
