Default Should I paint?

The grill on my 2003 Ford F150 is a grey color. I was wondering if this is the color it is supose to be or has it faded. What do you think should I paint it black or leave it the way it is?

^X2 did mine and love the way it looks now. Also, my grill looked just like the OPs before I painted it. Looked faxed and had a lot of dark, greasy looking spots on it.

Don't hate me for sayin this but I used the plasti dip. Some love it some hate it. I did it cause it was easy and if I don't like it, I'll pressure wash the paint off and then use a more permanent paint. I've seen some guys use the rustoleum truck bed coating... Which ever method you use, make sure it is good for outdoors and plastic.

Used Rustoleum satin black. I haven't. Lear coated it and it made it to Charlotte and back, approx 600 miles, without one scratch or chip.
