shocks

As far as i know, i have original shocks on my 2003 lariat screw 4x4 .

I dont notice any excessive body movement symptoms of bad shocks, but am wondering how much ride might be improved by new.

Whats best, bilstein 4600 for stock ride ht?
Oem from dealer?

Bilsteins, Monroes are both good. Monroe-Matic are the oem equivalent - go 1 step up for a better shock.
Amazon usually has some good prices on both of these and others.
Your ride will be a bit firmer - less float.

I and a few others on here have replaced our stockers with Fox 2.0s and we are all very happy.

I just used Monroe OE Spectrums on mine. It's amazing how much of a difference they provided. I am really impressed with them. FYI... the OE Spectrum's are the new name of their Sensatracs.

I have had both Monroe and Bilstein shocks and for me the Bilsteins were much better. One trip over the local train tracks and I was convinced

better offroad or onroad? Probably both.

I had rancho rs5000s on my black truck and went with Fox on this one. I spend a lot of time on the hwy but off road too and they really are surprisingly good all the way around.

Would instantly choose them again and again and again and again. Just the quality of how their built would make that decision for me, and the ride feels super great on them.

Check rockauto.com for Bilstein's. They had a pretty good price on them when I purchased some a couple years back. This place: http://www.truckspring.com/ also had some at a good price.
