I have seemed to have lost my owners manual and i would like to disable both alarms if possible can anyone please help me out

Turn key to start position (not running) wait for the seat belt indicator to go off (about 1 minute) the next step must be done within 50 seconds after the belt reminder goes off. Buckle then unbuckle the seat belt 9 times ending on unbuckled. The air bag indicator will be turned on for 3 seconds. Within about 7 seconds of the air bag light going off buckle and unbuckle the seat belt again this will disable the belt reminder. As a confirmation the belt indicator will flash 4 times per second for 3 seconds. Hope this helps this is straight out of the owners guide.

My 99 seat belt alarm randomly goes off weather I have it on or not. Is there a way to disable it so it can't anymore. I tried to do it the way above but the light doesn't come on when I turn the key on?
