Don't think you have to.... I ran seafoam through the vacuum line in my truck and it started up and ran fine, so i assume the plugs are fine still. They were only a couple months old, so didn't want to put new ones in again.

I just ran mine through the brake booster line shut it off and waited 5 min like the bottle said. Started up fine but with no smoke. Ran it for a min to make sure none was going to come out on my way to work.

You didnt wait long enought. I made the same mistake and only let it sit for 10 mins and barely any smoke came out. The next time I did it I let it sit for 20-30 mins and wow I got a ton of smoke. From what I have heard 5-10 mins is not enough time to let the seafoam do its job.

Can someone take a pic of the line you should use to suck this stuff into the intake. Also, when using this line, how much do you let it take in... or is it the whole bottle?

I've had a can sitting in the garage for about a year. I wanna use it on this truck so bad but I don't wanna jack it up.

I cant get you a picture but if you look in the how to section they show you exactly where it is. It is pretty much the same most cars. It is the vacuum line that comes out of the brake booster (the cylinder on the drivers side fire wall). It is a black vacuum line with a grey circular right angle piece that sticks into the brake booster. I usually let it suck in a third to half a bottle and have somebody cut the engine while I am pouring.

I run it in my mustang with 10k miles on it and it smokes like you wouldnt believe, but when i tried running it through my 98 exploder with 219k miles it barely smoked. I think maybe it was because my mustang has no cat. converters and the explorer does? not sure but i will be trying the seafoam treatment on my newly acquired 02 fx4 with hopes that it smooths out the rough idle and gets me a few more MPG's.

i just ran it in my 99 f150 with 306k and my 2010 f150 only 413miles and smoked the same... i am now thinking the makers of this foam stuff just made it where it would smoke white so all of us would be fooled... i bet thats what is going on here... lol its a conspiracy...
