I absolutely loved the extendable mirrors I had on my old regular cab. Really wish they made a set to fit the Screw's. I am trying to track down a set of expy mirrors at a local pick-n-pull. I figure that will be cheaper than paying someone to do fiberglass work, that may or may not look good

I've never heard of expy mirrors. Pics anyone?

Expedition mirrors. xc_racer_129 has a set from a 2004 on his Screw. They are direct bolt ons. They're bigger than the F-150 mirrors and have the same base and bolt pattern. Only the wiring is different. I think the power mirror switch is different too, since once you wire the mirrors up, they work backwards. I did some searching, and up to 2005 all F-Series trucks use the same power mirror switch, but the Expy uses a different switch. Unfortunately, it's a different shape too.

So I ordered my mirrors this morning. New Kool-Vue aftermarket L & R mirrors for a 2004 Expy. They have the turn signals, puddle lights, power adjust and heated glass. I got a great deal on them, $85.00 each + tax with free shipping.

I can't wait to get them installed. Hopefully they get here before I go camping next weekend.

I'm gonna be ordering the 04-08 f150 tow mirrors probably next paycheck, just gotta cut off the studs that come on the mirror and drill and tap your own studs. A few others have done it and it looks damn good on a screw.

Except where the base hangs over on the sides

I'm going to install them next weekend. I decided to make a project out of installing them and doing a few other interior mods I've been meaning to get done.

I'm going to install the mirrors and a switch and delay relay for the heated glass, and wire the door panel interior lights while I'm in the doors. I'm also going to rewire my e-fan manual override switch with a new switch that matches the new mirror heat switch, and rewire my HID grille lights with another new switch that matches the new e-fan and mirror heat switches.

To make sure I can shoot the crap out of a whole 3 day weekend, I'm going to install a blend door, new heater core, and a new heater blower. And finally, since I'm going to be there anyway, I'll also be installing a platinum gauge face and blue US Speedo gauge needles.

I think that should be enough to kill the whole weekend, but if anyone can think of any other dashboard mod I'm forgetting, let me know. I've already done a full LED dash light conversion and headlight/fog light switch modification, or I'd do that too. Winter's coming and I don't want to be messing with this stuff when it gets cold.

Also, I recommend buying some Heineken stock before next weekend. I'll probably impact their sales enough to fund your retirement!!
