i think the volant (correct me if im wrong) sucks air (just like the stock intake) from the fender well so in that case i would say do the gotts and silencer mod and it should work out the same

gotts mod is only the price of 5 or 6 inchs of 3inch diameter pvc pipe and a coupler and the silencer mod is free .....use the search fourm and type in gotts mod and it should have the process of doing it
