Rusty Rockers .. need advice
The dreaded rust rears its head.
Been under the truck today and the chrome round nerf bar things have hidden it well.
I looked at the inner rockers and places where my old f150 was rusty ,but i missed this.
Anyway onwards and upwards. the only bit rusty is near the passenger door where it rolls underneath and meets up with the floor/ inner rocker.
So a flat section with a small step.
Is it worth getting over rockers and cutting to fit. or is there something else . the cab corners etc are fine.
Any ideas where will ship to the uk too. rock auto do but its 90 bucks for post alone .
Any help appreciated guys ..
I will get this Harley in top show form what ever it takes

Is it rusted through?- if not, you might get away with a heavy grit sand wheel and refinish- if it is through- but not all the way up into the door sill/step area, you might be able to have a sheet metal shop brake/ form a patch panel to weld in- i think most pre formed repair panels include the door sill area, but if its not bad(yet) i would just replace the damaged areas.
Pull the boards and give it a good going over before you make your decision-
Then, either DIY or have a shop weld it in and refinish.
Good luck- thats a beautiful truck!, keep it fresh!
