Rust/corrosion ?
so the previous owner of my truck, hardly ever washed off the sand from underneath the truck, and i hate that dirty look underneath.
can this be sanded and painted or is their a specific paint that can prevent this from happening again? i figured maybe bed liner under the truck/framing?

POR-15 is a well documented product popular in auto restoration work. I've used it several times with good results. Like all projects involving coatings and linings, the better the surface prep, the better the outcome. POR-15 is much more surface tolerant than most coatings and bonds tenaciously to everything, including your skin.
