Id take them off if your not going to lift it or anything. I bought my truck with a 3" body lift and the steps were gone, wishing they were left on though!

looks like they are staying on the bolts and nuts are so rusted i cant get them off they strip so im going to have to look around for an air chiesel.

I can't wait to take mine off, it looks so much better. I think I'm going to leave mine on for winter for protection from road salt.
