Default RPM revving when ac turned on

Just got done cleaning throttle body and now the truck idles at about 700 rpm, instead of the 300 rpm it was previously idling at. After cleaning the throttle body, I noticed that whenever I turn the ac on, the rpms drop to 500 and then it will start reving up to about 800 rpm; then dropping back down to 500 in about 3 second cycles. Any idea what the problem is? Just put a brand new MAF sensor in about a month ago.

BS, these engines won't idle @ 300 rpm.

Have any idea what your doing or saying ?

Regardless, the first thing to do with this sort of project is to disconnect the Neg cable on the battery. Did you make it that far or skip it all together ? Where did you get direction from ...concerned..(?)

Sounds like you need to do a do-over, this time do it correctly...seriously.

I'll take pictures of the rpm gauge for you in the morning.

I put in a new MAF sensor last month and had all the vacuum lines redone about 2 months ago. I cleaned the throttle body because the trucks idled low as hell ever since I've had it. It would idle right between 300-400 rpm on the gauge.

Your HVAC refrigerant is low. RE-charge it and it'll go away.
