You can get away with running stock shocks in the front with just spindles, but I'd recommend getting replacement shocks that are longer. As for the rear I don't think you will be able to get away with stock shocks running 3 inches of rear lift. I'd recommend getting new shocks all around. I'm pretty sure the rcx kit comes with shocks though.

Alright cool, ill get the new shocks then but i want to go with the 3.5 inch spindle lift set so i can level it while im at it and 3inch blocks from autozone rather than the 2inch ones that are in the kit.

The purpose of the 2" rear block is to "level" the truck. (usually the front needs more lift than the rear in order to level the rig.)

there is a 1 inch difference between the front and back so 2" blocks would be to short. the t 3" bloxks would brring it up to level

Lol no the back sits 1 inch higher so if i did 2 inch blocks and a 3.5" spindle then the front will be higher by .5" where if i get the 3" the back will be higher by .5" which ill be cool with

You might want to try the 2'' blocks that come with the kit first. The rcx kit I installed on my 97 came with 2'' rear blocks and still sat high in the rear.
Picture of the kit with 285 75 16s. Not the best picture of how it sat higher in the rear though.
