Rough Country Pros and Cons

Rough Country Pros and Cons
I finally have enough money to get new tires, wheels and a Rough Country lift kit! I plan to get a 4-5 inch lift because I am getting 35" tires with 17" wheels. The only reason I haven't bought them all yet is because I want to make sure the Rough Country lift is the right lift for my truck. I have heard good and bad experiences from this lift on a 98-03 F-150s and on other trucks too. All I'm asking here is what are some Pros and cons you guys have with the Rough Country lift. And Post some pictures too!

Hey man I'm in the same boat, I was going to buy rc but I'm going with zone it's the exact same hardware as BDS and it's a true 6" lift without having to touch torsion bars, I've heard good about both, zone is 200 more but in my eyes is the better overall lift

I have looked so many kinds of lifts but rough country seems to be the only company that has a 5" lift do you know of any others?

My 03 f150 has a 6" fab tech lift that I love and is made exceptionally well (I'm a welder/fabricator my self).
The only thing about the RC 4-5" lift is that it's actually a 4" lift and then you turn your torsion bars up if you want to go to 5" of lift.
Not a big deal just as long as your aware.
With the 6" fab tech lift it's an actual 6" lift and you could turn it up to 7". But most find the excellent ride and factory driveline angles at 6" is good enough.

I have a 4" rough country lift on my 04 jeep and the quality is top notch! Rough country's customer service is some of the best I have experienced as well! I just mentioned zone that's the company I would go with unless I'm rich then I'd be going with bds, zone is a TRUE 6" lift with stock drive angles no need to touch your torsion bars
