Rotors are pissing me off.....

First, take some sandpaper (strips used for belt sanders work the best) and sand the corrosion between the hub and the rotor. Try your best to get as deep as you can in-between the rotor and hub (sounds like it wouldn't do anything but believe me, it works). Then take some JB Weld or WD40 and spray it into the lug holes and around the hub and let her soak a while. As long as you are replacing the old rotors, there is no problem with taking a sledgehammer to the backside of the rotors, going all the way around until they jar loose.

The rotor is shaped like a hat. It would be next to impossible to get a strip of sandpaper between the hub and the rotor. I sprayed an awful lot of PB blaster in there, and beat on it with a BFH until I could barely lift my beer. Using the bolts worked very easily. I found on the second one, just putting some pressure on the rotor with the bolts, then a good rap with the hammer between the studs popped it off even quicker.

yeah well there's always that one that gives you trouble, then the rest are a breeze. took me an hour to change rotor an pads on passenger side, took maybe 10mins to do the drivers side
