Does anyone with our model year trucks have a roof rack?? If so could u throw some pics up and let me know where you got them and if you don't mind the price.

So how does the rack go on the roof?? Does it bolt through the roof or what?

3rd picture down you can see it clamps to the inner lip of the door channel. theyre Yakima Q-towers, I paid around 300 bucks just for the crossbars but theyre sturdy and each one locks with a key, the basket is nothing special but has bolts that use a special key to get off.

speaking of roof racks, has anybody taken the rack from an expedition and cut it down to fit? I did that with an explorer rack on my ranger and would like to do this on my F150

so... is 01f1502wd the only one with a roof rack??? His is nice but I think it sits a little to high off the roof for me. Question tho does the rack effect your MPG much because of the extra height??

I don't want to jack the thread, but just one question... Could you move the front crossbar as far forward as to where its mounted where the door starts to curve downward?
