Default Ron Burgandys Build thread

So I figured id do a build thread of my rig, its a 2003 supercrew xlt 4x4 with the 4.6 and 3.55 gears, affectionately named Ron Burgandy. I've had it for 3 years and it hasn't given me a single problem.

The days after I brought it home:
The first thing I did was remove steps and bed cover

The first mod was a spectre intake, pretty good product for half the price of k&n

As you can also see I painted the engine cover, looks pretty sweet IMO

Next up was a go rhino 7000 series push bar and KC day lighters which I recently swapped to 130w bulbs

Next was audio. I put in a 300w Rockford fosgate mono block amp that pushes 2 150w 10" Rockford subs. Its the perfect combo for listening to mostly country, but will still hit hard with any bass heavy music.

Then I added a cobra 19 cab radio with a PA system

(I apologize for the sideways pictures)

Then came my favorite upgrades: 17x9 fuel hostages wrapped in 285/70 Goodyear wrangler duratracs. The good years are a hell of a tire and I recommend them to anyone, perfect in all conditions.

Immediately after tires and wheels I bought black lightning style headlights and an led 3rd brake light on eBay.

Next up was tinted tail lights, I didn't like the super bright glossy red of stock so I did 4 light coats of vht nightshades, turned out perfect.

Then the most recent upgrades. I added Rancho 5000 shocks front and rear. I can't say the fronts any better due to my tortion bars being tightened, but the rear is like riding on clouds.

Them my most recent mod (completed last night in 30 degrees and rain) flow master super 10 dumped out the side under the cab. I kept all 4 cats and just chopped the muffler off after its last joint. This setup is super deep and sounds amazing!
