Default Rode the pony a long time, mech fixes to take me to300k

Original owner 240k. Original everything, literally only a few things that I had to fix over the years, ps pump, antilock brake computer, door lock actuators, oil sensor, odometer fix. I fixed everything myself but the ps pump.

Seriously original radiator, starter, alternator, serpentine belt...everything.

My brakes and front rotors are shot, and I promised myself the next time I did the brakes, id do the front end. It's time, goes in today. I'll drop $1100 into it, but hoping this will take me another 60k, where I can see if it is still a reliable truck and set a new target.

Got the truck back today. Feels as tight as the day I drove it from the showroom floor 17 years ago.

I did front end and brakes at 200k when replaced engine.
Course I did mine, took 5 hrs and $260 parts.

Havent spent a nickel on it to fix anything now for 2 yrs, 40,000 miles

14 yr old truck that nothing breaks on.

My check valve on fuel pump is leaking pressure off, so will probably replace pump proactively soon.

The front end was around $300 in labor. I had no problem prying the dollars out of my pocket for that and I'm pretty darn thrifty as evidenced by my 17 year old, 240k mile truck.
