I had some 9005 bulbs in mine for a while with no ill effect as far as I can tell (will know for sure when I pull them apart in a while).

Question... I think I already know, but want to be certain. The factory fluented fog lamps dont have glare caps, right? The ones on the new truck still look about new, so I'm in no rush to replace them. The bulbs definitely aren't the brightest of the bunch though... Seem like for them, wisdom doesn't come with age.

I just replaced my bulbs with Piaa H10's. Really happy with the light output and color.
(also have Piaa's for the headlights)
