Removing rear side windows??
Does anyone know how to remove the back side windows in a supercab?
I'm wanting to swap out the side rear windows of my 97 that has the mirror tint that came from the factory, to one from a different year model, without the mirror tint, has anyone done this?

It is actually quite simple. You pull the interior panel and you will find approximately 8, maybe 9 studs with nuts on them. That is what holds in the window. Remove the nuts, then run a sharp tool around the glass the cut the urethane that holds in the glass and keeps the water out. Once you cut that and have the nuts off, you can remove the old window. Clean all the old urethane off, install new sealer, then the new window, tighten the nuts and your window is done.
If you want to switch to swing out windows, switch to different shades of glass, or whatever, it is that simple. Hope that gives you your answer.

I have the new windows in, next question is what sealer should I use? Is there brands I should stay away from? I don't want any water leaks lol
