Default Remote: i want a Chirp and not a honk

Hi,

when i open the car with the Remote or close it, i get 1 Honk or 2 honks.
but i would like to have a chirp or a chirp-chirp.

how can i make this possible?

to get the one honk 2 honks instead of just the one honk on lock

you most likely have to have a aftermarket alarm installed (unless i am un aware about something on these trucks please someone confirm) so to do this would be easy go to your local stereo shop and ask them to look if your alarm has a siren port (or download the manual to your specific alarm and look) if it does purchase and wire it up

if it does not have this function you will need to purchase a alarm that does and install that one

OK, which Alarm i have? I don't know.
It is this with motion sensor near Steering column, and this oval Remote.

I only got one honk if I press close on the remote twice. No honk at all if I open via the remote...

you are most likely gonna have to tear appart your truck and find the black box... that is located somewhere under your dash most likely up by the steering column or behind the glove box... post a picture of your remote and i can probably point you in the right direction as to what alarm you have but you will most likely have to find the box and get the number off of it...
