Rear Window Seal

Bolt the surround onto the cab first. Then simply pop the glass into place and tighten it up.
The adheasive isn't on the surround, it's actually the cab if you look close. You don't even need the surround. The window actually seals to the cab.
Amen on the Butyl tape. Wish I had known about it the FIRST time.

I have a 2000 f150 that also had a leaky rear window. The facotory seal was basicall double back tape foam seal. took it to my friends body shop wher he removed the window and re sealed using polurethane door and window sela that you can find at home depot.

i was wondering where u guys can get the foam thing that sits behind the window surround. its like a weatherstrip that sits between the plastic surround and cab. without it there will be a body gap between the two. lmk

I threw mine away. The gap looked better than the ugly foam sticking out.
